So when we do, it is cause for celebration!
We get so excited that my children start bouncing off the walls (even more so than they normally do.) In fact, in years previous, I have been embarrassed, even mortified, by my children's behavior towards visitors due to the theatrics they exhibited every time one came through the door. I eventually became aware that this was in large part a result of the fact that we seldom have visitors. They merely hadn't experienced enough opportunities to practice the proper etiquette for hosting company. Upon learning this unfortunate situation, I set up a plan to properly train these budding humans of mine how to act appropriately towards guests.

Lucky for us, several friends and family members have paid us a call in the past few weeks.
We have enjoyed them all!
One Aunt and 3 cute cousins and some friends came to play for President's Day ...and to share Isaac's birthday cake.
We baked yummy treats
And played fun games together.
And a fun time was had by all~!Then came Don Juan:
:) Just kidding. He's one of our clowns.One evening this past week, we were thrilled to host two special little ones
while their parents went out together.
(Especially since we don't have any that age around here regularly anymore.)
This active 3 year old wiped Isaac right out!(no small task! In fact, I didn't even think that was possible!)
We also learned that night that Rachel is enamored with babies--almost as much as Lisa is!
They both doted on this little guy all night!

Even Dad enjoyed holding the baby for a while... until the girls impatiently took him back.
And then the parents came to collect their treasures... and the fun was over.Until the next evening when some other friends came to stay overnight while their parents were out of town...
...so they could catch the bus at our house.
We have never had so many kids at our bus stop at one time! I thought it was pretty cute how they lined up. It snowed that morning, so they were up and ready early so they could play outside before the bus came.
That afternoon, another Aunt came with cousins to play with.
They spent 2 nights! What a party!

Hooray... another baby to cuddle and dote on!

We played and played, shopped the Cache Valley exclusive outlet stores, such as Pepperidge Farms, Gossners, and Lazy One Pajama Factory, then went to a fun Dr. Seuss night at the school, and played some more. Our party was so much fun that it was difficult to want to sleep!However, Rachel's reading skills came in handy to settle things down.
In the morning, we played some more.And the seeds that were sitting on my kitchen counter all week finally found a home in the dirt with a little help from these little tykes.
